“Life beats down and crushes the soul and art reminds you that you have one.”
-Stella Adler

Los Angeles, 1966. As an eight year old I proudly started carrying a little wooden suitcase filled with oil paints and brushes. A small framing business, The Art House, on La Cienega had a studio in the back, where we children sat in a circle in front of our easels and learned how to push paint.

I was lucky to have taken a few classes at Berkeley and attend an artist’s retreat with the lovely, Bohemian hearted Leigh Hyams. She guided and broadened my artistic expression. It all started with “The Sneeze”.

My work graces homes mostly in California: Beverly Hills, San Francisco, Silicon Valley. Also Nevada, Colorado, Minnesota, New Jersey and Florida.
